TSO Live Sessions

TSO Live Sessions is a break-out, casual form of the orchestra performed wearing Blundstone boots in pubs, breweries and distilleries across Tasmania. For the classical-curious and uninitiated, TSO Live Sessions caters to those preferring a more relaxed approach to enjoying classical music. It also gives the TSO’s musicians an alternate platform to express and experiment with repertoire sitting outside the traditional realms of an orchestra. Each event had a feature instrument and often introduced new venue for which I created a new illustration to reflect these. Using hand-drawn elements, combined with a risograph effect, the Live Sessions collateral reflected the more fun, raw and lo-fi side of the TSO’s seemingly boundless expression.
