Tasman Ch’arki
It’s not every day you get to be your own client! Co-founded by my very talented husband Mark, and myself, Tasman Ch’arki launched in late 2024 after years of experimentation and planning. Our premium Tasmanian made beef jerky has a unique flavour after hours of marinating, then carefully smoked for preservation and texture. Tasman Ch’arki’s name comes from the blending of Tasmanian ingredients and commitment to quality, and the Quechua word ch’arki (dried, salted meat.) Mark’s inspired and committed pursuit of a great product, and my background in design have allowed us to combine our skills to create some damn good jerky. (Well, we and a few others think so anyhow.) Thanks to Jarrod Lowe for writing some cool words that live on the website and our packaging. I still really like reading it.
